The New Zealand Council of Trade Unions is the umbrella organisation for 33 trade unions, representing over 300,000 New Zealand workers.
The NZCTU strongly supports the important role of trained health and safety representatives in workplace health and safety.
The CTU runs this website for health and safety reps, which was developed in partnership with ACC.
The CTU's campaign, Unions Talking Health and Safety, is featured on this site which aims to train as many health and safety representatives as possible. Over 18,000 reps have been trained so far and we are developing Stage Four training. Read more.
